I have a blue heart that bleeds pink and it's easily swayed by all things vintage. This dress was love at first sight.
I love the 17th Avenue Graffitti bridge location for taking photos, because it's full of demonstrations of freedom of speech. And while we can't always agree on everything we can always agree to disagree respectfully. For that reason this location and the train tracks are such a part of Pensacola heritage, history and now of the #upsideofpensacola movement that it also has a special place in my blue and pink vintage heart.

I often use the symbolism of a journey on a train as a form to visualize our life's journey. One of the cognitive concepts that helped me the most during trying times is the following:
"Our life runs on a train track on a one way trip. There is no reverse, there is no right or left, just bends and occasional curves. Some people get in our wagons while others choose to leave. We do the same. Sometimes we travel parallel to others and we spend time together at depots and stations, some people you will see again, others you wish you never do. But what it's really about is being focused, keeping your train on the tracks, balanced and adjusted ready to go with the flow of the curves and bends of life".
With that in mind, I wore my "new" favorite pink vintage dress from @farfallasboutique on Instagram, my Gianni Bini heels and set out to make new memories while remembering a few life lessons I have learned along the way.
I had friends on Instagram ask if I was able to balance...
And I said, "I do my best", AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, as promised; an excerpt from the book...
"I am in the happy business. I have decided to be happy, no apologies, no excuses, and no regrets. My main objective as a Life Coach is to teach others, especially women to do the same. The majority of my clients finish their "why am I here list" with, "I just want to be happy". What they don't realize is that the only person standing in their way is themselves. That the secret to being happy is not in the destination but in the journey, however, you can’t get on the happy train if you don’t get on board!" ... stay tuned for more, Amazon Launch in March!
